Guyana-Martinique-Guadeloupe Submarine Cable is Scheduled to Go Into Production in January Next Year

 

The Kanawa cable system deployed by French telecommunications service provider Orange, which connects French Guiana, Martinique and Guadeloupe submarine cable systems, will be operational in January 2019.

The 1,746-kilometer submarine cable will be installed at the end of July, and Orange's cable-mounted ship M/V Pierre de Fermat plans to leave Brest on July 14.
