The ITPD Hybrid Component is a hybrid component for power monitoring purposes within optical communication systems. As a key element of the EDFA back-end solution, it seamlessly incorporates the same functions of optical isolators, TAP, and PD photodiodes into a compact package.
The five most important functional components in EDFA are optical Isolator, WDM, GFF, Coupler and TAP PD. Hybrid optical passive components integrate two or more combined functions in one device, greatly reducing the size of the device and reducing the cost under the premise of the same function.
