The World's First Commercial Submarine Data Center Demonstration Project Officially Enters The Implementation Stage
Recently, according to the news on the website of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hainan Province on May 24, the promotion meeting of the world's first commercial subsea data center demonstration project was held at the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hainan Province.
Hailanxin signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Building the World's First Commercial Submarine Data Center Project" with the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Hainan Information Investment, and signed the "Green Data Center (Subsea IDC) Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Sinnet, marking The project has officially entered the implementation stage. According to the strategic cooperation agreement, Highlander will jointly establish a project company with Hainan Xintou to jointly promote the construction of the subsea data center project. The overall project plan is 100 data cabins, which will be constructed in three phases during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Sinnet will establish a joint venture operation company with Hylan Cloud to participate in the operation and maintenance of the Hainan demonstration project, responsible for part of the investment and customer promotion of the demonstration project, and will participate in the overall planning of the future capital operation of the submarine data center.
