On June 4th, at the 31st China International Information and Communication Exhibition, ZTE Corporation unveiled its highly anticipated Wi-Fi 7 FTTR gateway, marking an industry milestone. The product lineup includes the main gateway ZXHN G7705 and the sub-gateway ZXHN G1715.
The main gateway adopts XG-PON/10G EPON upstream, and both the main and sub-gateways provide Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5GE interface functions to the user side. Compared to current FTTR products, this new release offers significant improvements in bandwidth speed and Wi-Fi coverage. It aims to provide home users with higher speeds and more stable wireless networks within their homes.
In recent years, FTTR has garnered increasing attention from society, and the market demand has become stronger than ever. Domestic operators have successively launched broadband packages with speeds of 2000 Mbps and higher, requiring Wi-Fi upgrades to match these ultra-high-speed rates. As a pioneer in the FTTR field, ZTE Corporation has been working closely with industry partners to continuously cultivate and innovate. The introduction of the industry's first Wi-Fi 7 FTTR product aims to greatly enhance the speed and coverage of Wi-Fi networks.
This product incorporates Wi-Fi 7's 4096-QAM technology, which increases throughput performance by 20%, effectively meeting the demands of high-bandwidth services such as ultra-high-definition video streaming, high-speed downloads, and home NAS (Network-Attached Storage) usage. Additionally, the product introduces Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and Multi-RU (MRU) technologies, allowing terminal devices to connect to multiple Wi-Fi hotspots simultaneously. This enables users to experience faster access speeds and lower latency, ensuring reliable stability for delay-sensitive applications such as online conferences and gaming.
Furthermore, by integrating self-developed scenario-based AI algorithms, ZTE's FTTR whole-home fiber network provides home users with an extremely fast, intelligent, and comprehensive home network, satisfying the demands of broadband upgrades.
