China Unicom 4G-5G Collaborative Intelligent Energy-saving Management Project Won The United Nations 2021 WSIS Champion Award
On May 18, 2021, WSIS (World Summit on the Information Society) issued the award results. China Unicom Research Institute's "4G/5G Collaborative Intelligent Energy-saving Management" project won the WSIS ICT Electronic Environment Group Champion Award.
After 4 months of screening, global voting, and rigorous review by United Nations experts, China Unicom's "4G/5G collaborative intelligent energy-saving management" project stood out among more than 1,200 participating projects and successfully won the Champion Award in the Electronic Environment Group. China Unicom's "4G/5G Collaborative Intelligent Energy-saving Management" project implements the WSIS action plan, and is committed to building an ICT innovation service platform for energy conservation and emission reduction, and promoting the sustainable development of communication networks in a green, efficient, flexible and intelligent direction.
