Denmark Telecom TDC Is Scheduled To Start 5G Commercial Use On September 7
Recently, according to foreign media reports, TDC NET, the infrastructure department of Danish Telecom TDC, said that it will start 5G commercial use on September 7, covering most areas of Denmark.
The 5G deployment of Danish Telecom TDC began in New Zealand in October 2019. After obtaining the Danish Energy Agency (DEA) for temporary access to the 5G 3.5GHz band, TDC and Swedish equipment supplier Ericsson were in Helsingor in December of the same year. The 5G pilot project was launched.
Earlier, Danish Telecom TDC issued a statement stating that it chose Ericsson to build a 5G network infrastructure project in Denmark, and the cooperation project will continue until the end of 2023.
