Spain Launches 5G Network, Covering 75% Of The Population By The End Of The Year
Recently, according to foreign media reports, Spanish telecommunications service provider Movistar has launched a non-independent (NSA) 5G network in parts of Spain. The network utilizes the 3.5GHz spectrum and the re-allocated frequencies of 1800MHz and 2100MHz. It is estimated that by the end of this year, 75% of Spain's population will be able to use the 5G network.

While expanding the 5G network coverage, Spain's domestic 2G and 3G networks will be gradually closed in the future, and the 3G network will be completely deactivated before 2025.
With the construction and promotion of 5G and the rise and development of data centers, the market demand for optical communication products and devices is exploding, and higher requirements are placed on quality and performance.
