The First Submarine Optical Cable To Hong Kong In Hainan Province Is Fully Connected
Recently, China Mobile’s Hainan Wenchang-Hong Kong Chungkanjiao submarine optical cable system completed the equipment commissioning and successfully opened. This is the first submarine optical cable in Hainan Province to reach Hong Kong directly. Its commercialization has realized the interconnection and direct communication between Hainan and Hong Kong. It will promote the efficient flow of data and information in the Hainan Free Trade Port and help Hainan become a major national strategic service guarantee area.
