Product Description
The polarization-maintaining (PM) 2x2 FBT couplers from OPTICO work with a wide variety of wavelengths (480–2000 nm) and are used to split or combine optical signals between two input ports and two output ports. These couplers are produced with Panda fiber and selected connectors, applying fused biconical taper (FBT) technology, which gives them exceptional extinction ratios for light that is transmitted into the PM fiber's slow axis. In important applications, they make sure that light is distributed correctly while keeping the polarization intact. These couplers work well even in the circumstances of mechanical stress and temperature changes. In structure they are housed in small steel tubes that are 3mm in diameter or loose tubes that are 0.9mm in diameter.
