8CH Ultra Compact DWDM Module
After 6 months, OPTICO's technical team has developed this kind of ultra-compact WDM module, which is very small in size, only 28x14.4x6.5mm. For six months, the technical team continued to modify the drawings, packaging structure, and packaging materials, and finally made the same DWDM able to withstand the test of extreme environments with the smallest size. The ultra-compact DWDM module is available with 4, 6, 8,12 and 16 channels, and has the advantages of high isolation, low loss, and high stability.
OPTICO is the only manufacturer capable of producing UC-WDM Devices in the entire optical communication market.
Thermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating (TAWG) DWDM Modules are designed for use within the C-band release of DWDM system. To decrease the power dissipation of the devices in different environmental conditions, the AWG package is special designed with selection of reliable thermal plastic with low thermal conduction, and the AWG operating temperature is controlled by using foil resist heater or Peltier TEC with thermistor temperature sensor.
The channel spacing for DWDM is 1.6/0.8/0.4 nm (200GHz/100 GHz/50 GHz grid). This small channel spacing allows to transmit simultaneously much more information.
