The structure of GYFTZY53 Armored Fiber Optic Cable Outdoor Direct Burial is a single-mode G.652. D optical fiber sleeved into a loose tube made of high-modulus polyester material, which is filled with a water-resistant compound. At the center of the core is a metal strength member.

 

For some counts of fiber cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the metal reinforcement. The loose tube and filler cords are united around the central strength core to form a compact circular core, and the gaps within the core are filled with a water-resistant filler. Unified core extruded on the outside of a layer of PE inner jacket, double-sided plated and coated with plasticized steel strip (PSP) longitudinallly after extrusion to the PE jacket into a cable.
