- This 1X16 PM PLC Splitter features a 1-input 16-output splitting architecture, housed in a robust 60mm × 4mm stainless steel tube package. The compact, hermetically sealed design offers excellent shock and vibration resistance, making it ideal for standard rack mounting and field installation.
- Designed for slow-axis operation and fast-axis cutoff, the 1X16 PM PLC Splitter reliably transmits the slow-axis polarization signal while blocking and suppressing fast-axis interference components, minimizing polarization crosstalk and maintaining a high degree of polarization purity throughout the optical path. It comes with a loose-tube PM pigtail at the input and a matching multi-fiber ribbon pigtail at the output, both with consistent length. The structured, flexible pigtails ensure compatibility with all standard connectors. This PM PLC splitter is widely used in 780nm-band fiber optic sensing, laser interferometry, precision optical testing, and polarization-sensitive optical communication applications requiring strict polarization fidelity.
