- This MPO MTP Trunk Cable OM4 is engineered for high-density and high-speed cabling applications in data centers. Adopting factory pretermination technology, the trunk cable is assembled with standard MPO/MTP connectors and OM4 50/125 μm laser-optimized multimode fiber. A full range of fiber counts including 12, 24, 48, 72, 96 and 144 cores are available.

Polarity Type
- In MPO/MTP cabling systems, polarity is the key factor to ensure proper connection between the transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) fibers of devices. The TIA/EIA-568 standard defines three main polarity types: Type A, Type B, and Type C, designed for various data center cabling topologies.
- Incorrect polarity configuration directly leads to link communication failure. For most data center deployments, Type A is the most common choice for trunk cables, which can be flexibly adapted to different devices when used with Type A/B/C patch panels. Type B and Type C are mainly used for specific polarity correction or cascading link scenarios. We recommend planning the overall link polarity scheme based on the polarity configuration of your optical modules and patch panels to ensure stable and reliable signal transmission.
