This 24F MTP MPO Y Backbone Cable OM4 Rose has a 24 fiber MTP/MPO connector terminated at one end and two 12 fiber MTP/MPO connectors terminated at the other end, which enables the base-24 MTP cable to be integrated into the existing base-12 backbone MTP link to transmit signals. The transmitted data is evenly distributed among the two 12-fiber cables previously installed in the MTP/MPO system. The Base-24 100G connection is converted to a 12-fiber MTP/MPO backbone via 24-fiber to 2x12-fiber MTP/MPO conversion cable to further extend the value of legacy infrastructure.
