Product Profile
We offer MTP/MPO trunk cables in 12-core OM 4 versions. When used over distances of 150 meters, the 8F MPO-MPO Male Trunk Cable OM4 can achieve a maximum transfer rate of 40 Gbit/s. When the data rate is 100 Gbit/s, the maximum transmission distance is 100 m. These MTP/MPO trunk cables form the backbone of the Base-8 system and are primarily used to connect MTP/MPO cassette tapes to MTP/MPO adapter modules. It has MTP male connectors at both ends and thus is not suitable for QSFP+ modules.
